I wanted to know thta how the poles are generated specifically for induction motors..?? I am not getting the main concept behind it that how the poles are being created with flowing current and with reversal of current the poles become alternatively north & south?

It is the fundamental relationship between electricity and magnetism: a circulating current produces a magnetic field that resembles that of a permanent magnet ... a permanent magnet has poles for the same reason the Earth does.
