i have redhat 9.0 and i need to setup a mail server and i was wondering how to do that? I have already setup the webserver and the ftp server i just need to know how to setup a mail server so i can send e-mails to mydomain.com and get them on my server and also be able to check them using pop3 from like out look or something

Are you using cpanel? if you are using cpanel then this should be easy.
 
no I am not using cpanel it is too expensive and i would know how to set it up on there but thanks i need to know how to do it without cpanel
 
jlorino, did you install the mail server packages on the redhat 9 cd? I'm pretty sure red hat included a mail server configuration tool.
 
yes i do have it installed i was just wondering how i go about configuring it
