As an example let's say The diameter is 28' 4" how do you convert into inches and to feet
The discussion focuses on converting a diameter measurement of 28 feet 4 inches into both inches and feet. The conversion process involves using the equations 1 ft = 12 inches and 1 inch = (1/12) ft. To convert 28 feet to inches, multiply 28 by 12, resulting in 336 inches, and then add the additional 4 inches for a total of 340 inches. For converting inches back to feet, divide the total inches by 12.

I gave you two equations - one to convert feet to inches, and the other to convert inches to feet. If you want to convert, say 8 feet to inches, just multiply both sides of the first equation by 8.jim1174 said:What is the equation I use to convert it? I tryed to google it but all I get are conversion calculaters
Convert the 28' to inches, and then add on the 4".jim1174 said:What I need to do is convert the diameter to inches then convert the diameter to feet
