How to change scale for fringe levels at ls prepost

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

The discussion focuses on adjusting the fringe scale in LS-PrePost to achieve better contour visualization for a dataset with values ranging from 0 to 6.122e+37. The user is encountering issues where the large disparity in values results in a uniform color output, specifically blue, due to the scale being too broad. To resolve this, specific techniques for modifying the fringe levels and scaling are necessary to enhance the contour representation.

PREREQUISITES
  • Familiarity with LS-PrePost software
  • Understanding of contour plotting techniques
  • Knowledge of data scaling methods
  • Basic grasp of numerical value representation in scientific notation
NEXT STEPS
  • Research how to adjust fringe levels in LS-PrePost
  • Learn about custom scaling techniques for contour plots
  • Explore the use of color mapping in LS-PrePost
  • Investigate methods for normalizing large datasets for better visualization
USEFUL FOR

Engineers, data analysts, and simulation specialists who utilize LS-PrePost for visualizing complex datasets and require effective contour representation techniques.

hi all..
i facing problem to get a good contour..because the scale at fringe levels so big.
for example:
level 8 = 1.224e+037
level 9 = 6.122e+036
level 10 = 0

i have 4500 element that the value from 0 to 6.122e+37..so the result that i got all in blue color because have a big difference value from level 9 and level 10.

please help me to get a good contour.
