I have a problem to put the complex number in mode (1000/3, ∠36.87), apparently the division simbol gives some syntax error
The discussion centers on inputting complex numbers into the HP 50G calculator, specifically the format for entering the complex number (1000/3, ∠36.87). Users encountered syntax errors when using the division symbol directly. The successful workaround identified was to input the complex number as (1000, ∠36.87)/3, which avoids the syntax error and correctly formats the input.

thx for reply, but I've already tried this the only solution I've found was (1000, ∠36.87)/3Tom.G said:I don't have a 50G but you might try putting parens around the 1000/3, entering it as ((1000/3), ∠36.87).
