In regards to your question, please be more specific as to what this techno fest involves. What it is etc.? I'm not sure I understand exactly what kind of advice you want.

Seriously, though, you're going to have to provide a little bit more information - what kind of engineering, your budget, etc., so that we can come up with more specific ideas. What college (perhaps some of us can research what's been done at that campus in the past and what's earned some recognition.)

I am first year in Mechanical Engineering studying in Bits Pilani Dubai Campus.We have a kind of competition here regarding working and non working models .And i want to design a non working model .it may be thesis,theories,regarding physics,mathematics,electronics,or any sci-fi factual .If you could help me with the topic i would be grateful.thanks
