Identifying "small" egg species

Hello...
While digging in a nearby sand hill - brought sand used in building - I found 6 small eggs.
I would ask you to help me identify for what species do they belong.
Probable results: - belong to snakes- after comparing to some snakes' eggs size (Google images).
N.B. it was in the Middle East - Lebanon.

It is difficult to identify eggs 100% correctly. If you want you can incubate them for a while and see if you get a hatchling. Or go to a local college and ask a herpetologist about them. S/he may have some suggestions about incubating them.

They could may well be snake eggs, they are small enough and are the right colour.
