Identifying the Source of Organic Chemistry Problems: A Scientist's Perspective

AI Thread Summary
A user is seeking help to identify a book or problem collection related to organic chemistry exercises they received from a friend while preparing for a chemistry olympiad. They mention that the problems are more challenging than those found in Solomon's Organic Chemistry. Another user suggests that the problems may be from the "Book of Invisible Chemistry Problems," authored by Anon. The original poster later acknowledges a mistake in not uploading a picture of the exercise, which could assist in identifying the source.

I want to test a humidity sensor with one or more saturated salt solutions. The table salt that I have on hand contains one of two anticaking agents, calcium silicate or sodium aluminosilicate. Will the presence of either of these additives (or iodine for that matter) significantly affect the equilibrium humidity? I searched and all the how-to-do-it guides did not address this question. One research paper I found reported that at 1.5% w/w calcium silicate increased the deliquescent point by...
