LibreCad has this print preview mode where there is a text box that accepts a print scale ratio. Also, the screen shows a representation of the page that you can drag aroud to set the offset, and thus select which part of the drawing will be on the page, and where on the page it will be.
The problem I have is that changing the print scale causes the view zoom and viewport offset to jump to some default setting. Also the page outline is no longer where I had dragged it. I then have to zoom way out, search out where the page outline has jumped to, and drag it back again so it aligns with the drawing contents once more.
In short, I don't know how I can alternately set the print scale and offset in a convenient way until I am happy with both.
What is the right way to do this?
