Like spacetime -- can sound be taken as a fifth dimension?

Click For Summary
Sound cannot be considered a fifth dimension like spacetime because it is not a universal constant. In empty space, sound does not exist, which contradicts the idea of it being a dimension. The discussion emphasizes that sound requires a medium to propagate, unlike spacetime, which is inherent to the universe. Therefore, sound does not meet the criteria to be classified as a dimension. The thread concludes with a definitive stance against the notion of sound as a fifth dimension.
