Suppose the maximum speed of a strong carrying a sinusoidal wave is $$v_{s}$$. When the displacement of a point on the string is half its maximum, what is the speed of the point?

Express your answer in terms of $$v_{s}$$

Well the speed of the wave and the speed of a point on the wave must be two different things, correct?
