If indeed there are other universes out there, one for each and every possibility. Will there not be one that continues, where you took off?
The discussion revolves around the implications of the multiverse theory on concepts of identity and the possibility of an afterlife. Participants explore whether alternate universes could allow for continuations of existence in different forms, particularly in the context of quantum mechanics and superposition.
Participants express differing views on the nature of identity in the context of the multiverse. There is no consensus on whether alternate versions of a person can be considered the same individual or if they represent entirely different entities.
Participants reference concepts from quantum mechanics, such as wave function collapse and superposition, but do not fully resolve the implications of these ideas on identity and existence.

No, they won't be "you". They have a different location in space and time, and that factor seems to be the only way of defining identity in the physical universe.
