Need help on radial distribution on excel

Click For Summary
To create an Excel spreadsheet that plots radial distribution functions for the 3s orbital of hydrogen, the key starting point is understanding the expression for the radial part of the wave function. The radial distribution function for the 3s orbital can be derived from quantum mechanics and is typically expressed in terms of the radial distance from the nucleus. The formula involves calculating the probability density and integrating over the volume element in spherical coordinates. Once the expression is established, it can be implemented in Excel by defining the range of values for p (0 to 15) and using Excel's graphing tools to visualize the radial distribution.

Need help on radial distribution on excel!

I'm trying to create an excel spreadsheet that plots radial distribution functions for the 3s orbital of hydrogen for values of p=0...15 I have no idea where to begin

What is the expression for the radial part ? Answering that, would be where you begin.
