i got an infraction for posting misinformation, and i apologize for that, i didn't mean to, i was just repeating what i heard from people


what is your opinion.. i was told that nigerias are the best mathematicians in the world.. that is what i was told, not my opinion.. but i just want to get your opinion on this?

While I'm sure there are bright Nigerian mathematicians out there, the assertion is false. There are no more bright Nigerian mathematicians than mathematicians of another country. And I see no reason why Nigerian mathematicians should be the best.

In fact, I know not a single Nigerian mathematician (that doesn't mean they don't exist though).

I think it's safe to say your friend duped you.
