Homework Statement

assuming points 1 and 2 are on the horizontal line, and the green portion has a greater density than blue rank the pressure points??

Homework Equations

pressure = rho x g x height

The Attempt at a Solution

i was thinking 3> (1=2)

You need to think about this again.

If the density of the fluid in the green region, differs from the blue region, then the pressure at the same height beneath the surface will be different.
