:shy: Plz. help me in plotting graphs like xsin(x),xsin(1/x) etc.Also give me tips and shortcuts to plots graphs like tan x -x or tell me any good piece of software to solve this problem

There's http://www.gnuplot.info/" , and I think the one named gp400win32.zip is the current windows version. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for the link. Currently I use GNUplot that comes along with Maxima. But I will give this one a try.

The program I like to use is called Graph. You can get it from www.padowan.dk. I like it because although it lacks some of the more advanced features (like 3D graphs) it is very easy to use. You don't have to spend days in front of your computer figuring out how to use it; you open it up, click the function button and everything becomes immediately clear from there.
