AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the functionality of popup stoppers in different web browsers, specifically Netscape and Internet Explorer (IE). It highlights that while a popup stopper can effectively block popups in IE, it fails to do so in Netscape, prompting a query about compatible popup stoppers for Netscape. Participants suggest considering alternative browsers like Firebird or Opera for better performance. The conversation also touches on a general sentiment in the tech community that if a solution doesn't work, it may be time to switch to a different option or upgrade.
