Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around experiences with computer hardware, specifically monitors, keyboards, and mice. Participants share personal anecdotes related to the functionality and issues encountered with these devices, framed within a homework assignment context.

Discussion Character

  • Homework-related
  • Technical explanation

Main Points Raised

  • One participant reports satisfaction with their monitor after six years of use, indicating no problems experienced.
  • The same participant describes minor issues with their keyboard and mouse, including a stuck key behavior and inconsistent mouse speed.
  • They note a significant issue where the keyboard and mouse are sometimes not recognized upon powering on the PC, requiring unplugging and replugging to function.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants do not reach a consensus, as the discussion is primarily anecdotal and focused on individual experiences rather than a collective agreement on hardware performance.

Contextual Notes

The thread was closed due to the nature of the survey/interview request, which is not permitted on the forum.

I 'll write my sort reply here, hope you 'll find it useful.

I am using my monitor for 6 years and my (relatively new) keyboard and mouse for 2 years. I am totally pleased from my experience with my monitor and haven't encountered any problems so far.

However I get minor bugs while using keyboard and mouse (like for example the keyboard behaves like a key is stuck and I have to reset it pressing some other keys, or the mouse speed is just sometimes not what it should be). The most serious bug is whenever I power on the PC sometimes the keyboard and mouse are not recognized and i have to unplug them from the USB and plug them back.
