SUMMARY

The discussion focuses on the need for a hardware radio relay system suitable for remote control applications in RC cars or planes. The user seeks a cost-effective and durable solution that can control electrical flow to a device remotely. Key functionalities include the ability to stop electrical flow when turned off and allow flow when activated. Suggestions for specific hardware components or systems were requested to meet these criteria.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of radio frequency (RF) communication principles
  • Familiarity with relay modules and their operation
  • Basic knowledge of RC systems and components
  • Experience with electrical circuit design and safety
NEXT STEPS
  • Research specific RF relay modules compatible with RC applications
  • Explore Arduino or Raspberry Pi integration for remote control functionality
  • Investigate durable materials for building custom RC systems
  • Learn about power management techniques for remote devices
USEFUL FOR

Hobbyists, engineers, and makers interested in building or enhancing remote control systems for RC cars and planes, particularly those focused on hardware solutions.

I am looking for a strictly hardware radio signal system. Something along the lines of what you would find in a RC car or plane. Any suggestions? Hopefully something relativily cheap, and fairly durable. Thanks for any response.

When turned off, stop an electrical flow to a device, and when turned on, allow the flow. All remotley, of coarse.
