SUMMARY

Simulation of magnetic and electric fields can be effectively achieved using tools like Falstad's Physics App, which provides interactive visualizations. For more advanced simulations similar to CATIA or SolidWorks, users should explore specialized software that can model electromagnetic induction, particularly focusing on the current induced in a conductor loop due to changing magnetic fields. The discussion emphasizes the need for precision in simulations, which varies based on the software capabilities.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of electromagnetic induction principles
  • Familiarity with simulation software like CATIA or SolidWorks
  • Basic knowledge of electric circuits and current flow
  • Experience with interactive physics simulations
NEXT STEPS
  • Research advanced electromagnetic simulation software such as COMSOL Multiphysics
  • Learn about the principles of Faraday's Law of Induction
  • Explore the capabilities of Falstad's Physics App for educational purposes
  • Investigate the use of MATLAB for simulating electric and magnetic fields
USEFUL FOR

Engineers, physicists, and educators interested in electromagnetic theory and simulation, particularly those looking to visualize the effects of magnetic fields on electric currents.

Is there a simulation software capable of simulating the effects of magnetic and electric fields like the current iduced in a loop because of a changing flux?
thanks

I want sth like catia or solidwrork but capable of showing that eg. if we have a conductor loop which is in a changing magnetic field, how will be its current.
