Solving System of Differential Equations in COMSOL Multiphysics

Click For Summary
To solve a system of differential equations in COMSOL Multiphysics, users can add a second PDE by utilizing the equation systems feature under the physics settings. If direct implementation of the PDE is challenging, creating a multiphysics model by adding a new application mode is a viable alternative. This approach allows for the integration of multiple equations into a cohesive model. Users are encouraged to explore these options for effective problem-solving. The discussion highlights practical methods for managing complex differential equations in COMSOL.

I want to solve a system of differential equations in comsol multiphysics.
So far I have not figured out how to enter a 2nd pde in addition to the existing pde.
Is this possible, and how?

Bit old but perhaps someone else will come across something similar ... if you can't implement the PDE by adding variables to the PDE form (physics --> equation systems, it's able to describe fairly general systems), you can always make your problem a "multiphysics one" by adding a new application mode which describes your another problem.
