AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the inquiry for a type I receptor that can undergo internalization without triggering signal transduction pathways leading to apoptosis or proliferation. The response indicates a lack of clarity regarding the original question and introduces the concept of lysosomal leakage as a potential cause of apoptosis, suggesting a need for further explanation of the initial query.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anybody could suggest a type I receptor that is able to undergo internalization but that is not involved in any type of signal transduction that would lead to apoptosis or proliferation?

Thanking you in advance,

Emily

hmm, i do not know what you are asking but i do know that lysosomes (i think) within the cell can leak or tear and enough of the leakage will cause apoptosis...

i also could not understand your question, can you explain?
