SUMMARY

The forum discussion centers on Tesla's electromagnetic engine, which utilizes magnetic levitation principles to lift objects. Participants clarify that the technology demonstrated in the referenced video is not anti-gravity but rather magnetic levitation, akin to systems used in magnetic levitation trains and linear induction motors. The discussion emphasizes the importance of understanding the underlying electromagnetic forces at play in Tesla's designs, rather than attributing them to anti-gravity phenomena.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of electromagnetic forces
  • Familiarity with magnetic levitation technology
  • Knowledge of linear induction motors
  • Basic principles of Tesla's engineering concepts
NEXT STEPS
  • Research "magnetic levitation train" technologies
  • Explore "linear induction motor" applications
  • Study Tesla's engineering notes and designs
  • Investigate the principles of electromagnetic propulsion
USEFUL FOR

Engineers, physicists, and technology enthusiasts interested in electromagnetic systems, magnetic levitation, and Tesla's innovative engineering concepts.

Hello,

Here on this movie:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2256433507046558974&q=tesla&pl=true

at 19:35

There is shown Tesla's engine, which balances EM forces, that are able to raise a piece of metal into the air which then keeps on staying there.
If anybody is familiar with this, can you provide a name of this for me, architecture of this engine and if possible, some Tesla's notes on the construction of this? And else, if you don't possesses any known websites about the description, can you tell me how it actually works on a deeper level?

Thanks

It's just magnetic levitation, nothing to do with anti-gravity. Google for "magnetic levitation train" and "linear induction motor".
