Anyone have any thoughts on this book? I was only able to find one short review (OSA) and the book is priced proudly.

It is great, I had never seen an explanation of Hamilton's ideas in this way. It is plenty of images, very informative.

Other references (as they say) are Lanczos and Yourgrau.
