Unreadable English Wikipedia on Chrome: Browser Extension for Solution?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around a recent change on the English Wikipedia page that switched from using "displaystyle" to "$", rendering the content unreadable for some users on Chrome. A user seeks recommendations for a browser extension to address this issue. Another participant requests clarification with a link and screenshot, indicating confusion about the problem. The English Wikipedia page seemingly changed from using "displaystyle" to "$" with the consequence that I can't use it anymore on Chrome. It is simply unreadable. Does anyone know a good browser extension to solve the problem?

As soon as I can load it at all. I tried an extension and it seems it blocked access, even after deinstallation. English is now the only language version I have no access to.

I solved the problem with a reset of the Chrome settings. It was apparently a firewall issue. I can read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page if I shut off my firewall, but only then. Strange, since all other language versions work.

Thanks.

I came across a video regarding the use of AI/ML to work through complex datasets to determine complicated protein structures. It is a promising and beneficial use of AI/ML. Interesting article about an AI writing scandal at Sports Illustrated: https://www.cnn.com/2023/11/29/opinions/sports-illustrated-ai-controversy-leitch/index.html I hadn't heard about it in real-time, which is probably indicative about how far SI has fallen*. In short, the article discusses how SI was caught using AI and worse fake reporter photos/profiles to write game summaries. Game summaries are the short articles that summarize last night's Phillies game. They are so formulaic that...
