Bilbao, where I live, hasn't noticed at all, but Valencia, at the Mediterranean coast, is been a tragedy of human and material loss. The link has got political quotes, as always. Feel free to remove it from the forum.

It's not worth it. I just wanted to express my feelings. Valencia will recover from this disaster. Life goes on, for sure.

I think the images of the piles of cars will be what I remember. I can't even imagine the sounds of such an occurrence while it was happening.
