Classical Want help in finding a book for questions on geometric optics

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around finding resources for geometric optics, specifically questions related to locating the position of mirrors using ray diagrams when only the object and image are provided. A participant mentions having already consulted I.E. Irodov's work but seeks additional materials. Recommendations include S.S. Krotov's "Aptitude Test Problems in Physics," which is noted for its challenging questions despite having only 20 in the optics chapter. Another suggestion is "Advanced School Physics" by Cengage, particularly part 2, which covers optics. The search for paperback versions of these books has proven difficult for some participants, leading to the consideration of downloading the texts instead.

I was about to suggest I.E.Irodov but you already have it . Try S.S. Krotov's Aptitude test problems in physics (MIR publications).

hmmmm... thnx bro i am now trying to find a paperback version of the book in my city, with no luck so far, i guess i will have to downoad the book, anyway thnx a lot

its a very short book with only 20 questions in optics chapter.....
though each question is quite brain teasing but still a bit disappointed in the quantity of questions, thnx anyway

Try advanced school physics by cengage (part 2 for optics)
