Yep! I apologize. Having lots of Firefox tabs open at one time is a recipe for unintentional thread-highjack.

this post is for people looking for movies to watch... I don't think these movies will disappoint anyone

The Best- lawrence of arabia, Dr. Zhivago, Back to the future, American History X, Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption, Batman Begins, Lord of the Rings

runners up- sunshine of the spotless mind, star wars, 25th hour, enemy at the gates

uhhh, there are tons of really watchable ones like Armageddon, Matrix 1 and American Beauty, but I think they are too "hollywood"

My favorite ones in no particular order are...

The Hunt For Red October
Aliens (The second one)
The Great Escape
Jurassic Park
Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Though it's not a movie, I love to watch it, too. It shows both sides, the nerds, and the beauties, lol, and they can actually get along quite well.

They sure are... and I can't wait! I also really liked Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's a close call between it and the Last Crusade. Heck, you're right, may as well throw the rest of them on the list.

Is that the one where Indiana steps on the stones to get to the "cup"? That one is my favorite, and I can't think of the name, lol. I'm not good with names, but I can see it in my head, like one from every movie, haha.

"Good Will Hunting" is on tonight on one of my channels. I've always felt some kind of a kinship with the Matt Damon role in the movie.

Top 10 in no particular order of preference.

6. Donnie Darko
After years of hearing about it, I finally saw it. Loved it. It definitely makes my top ten list (caveat: my top ten list probably has 40 films in it). Fortunately, I either didn't read or didn't remember reading the wiki plot summary on it, so everything was fresh to me and I got to experience the story as it was intended. Though there is some cheeze in it (not sure we really needed the gym teacher and evangelist, but ok...), the mystery really draws you in. And the closing scene, paired with the song covering it is...and this will sound weird from me for those who really know me...intensely emotional.

Not my favorite movie ever, but contained some of the most hilarious scenes I have ever seen in my life. "Dinner For Schmucks"

Watch the clip below; zack galifianuckis with the power of mind control, brilliant. Actually maybe watch the clip on that page called "shipping and handling" first.

Wow! Not-so-bad necropost. Recent favorites (they change) are Inside Man and Constant Gardener. The Missing is excellent, but gruesome. Better have a good stomach for that one.
