Discussion Overview

The discussion centers around seeking recommendations for resources related to the nuclear model and cluster model in nuclear physics. Participants are looking for articles, reviews, and classic books suitable for different levels of study.

Discussion Character

  • Exploratory, Homework-related, Meta-discussion

Main Points Raised

  • One participant requests recommendations for articles and books on the nuclear model and cluster model.
  • Another participant suggests "Theoretical Nuclear Physics" by de Shalit and Feshbach as a resource.
  • A participant expresses frustration about the lack of responses to their request for recommendations.
  • One participant notes that the appropriateness of book recommendations depends on the study level of the requester, indicating that different resources may be suitable for graduate students compared to high school students.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

There is no consensus on specific recommendations, and multiple views regarding the appropriateness of resources based on study level are present.

Contextual Notes

The discussion lacks clarity on the specific levels of study of the participants, which may affect the relevance of the suggested resources.

nobody give me some recommendations?

This should be moved to the book discussion section.

What really matters is what level your studies are at. How much physics have you had? How much math have you had? The book recommendation for a grad student in nuclear physics is quite different compared to a high school student.
