which soft wares are used in gas sensor simulation?
The discussion focuses on software options for simulating semiconductor gas sensors, specifically highlighting the use of COMSOL Multiphysics. Users express the need for better tutorials and guidance on utilizing this tool effectively for gas sensor mechanisms. Additionally, Quantum Espresso is mentioned as an alternative, although the user seeks other recommendations. The conversation emphasizes the importance of clarity in specifying the type of gas sensor and simulation required.
PREREQUISITESElectrical engineers, researchers in semiconductor technology, and anyone involved in the simulation of gas sensors will benefit from this discussion.
Semiconductor gas sensor simulation, coz it is related to electrical branch, I've used Comsol but i couldn't find any suitable tutorial.anorlunda said:You must do a better job of explaining your question before we can answer.
What gas sensor?
What kind of simulation?

Many tools are used to simulate anything, is that what you mean?
I'm looking for a graphical software to simulate a gas sensor mechanism. I thought "comsol multiphysics" could help me to determine the sensing mechanism of semiconductor gas sensor , but I didn't find any thing about this. I would appreciate you If you recommend an appropriate application except "quantum espresso" to help meAlba19 said:Semiconductor gas sensor simulation, coz it is related to electrical branch, I've used Comsol but i couldn't find any suitable tutorial.
