Engineering What Book Best Explains Transistor Circuits and Building Techniques?

Click For Summary
A user seeks recommendations for a book that effectively explains how basic circuit components work together, particularly in the context of building circuits with transistors. They express familiarity with individual components but lack understanding of their collective functionality, such as voltage dividers. While they have the "AARL Understanding Basic Electronics" book, they are uncertain if it meets their needs. Suggestions include classic texts by Stout & Kaufman, Kaufman & Seidman, and Rutkowski, which are acknowledged as somewhat dated but still valuable for foundational knowledge. Additionally, "The Art of Electronics" by Horowitz and Hill is recommended as a comprehensive resource. The user requests links to these books on Amazon, indicating difficulty in locating them.

I am looking for a book that explains and teaches you about how basic circuits components work together to perform a function. I know all the circuit components and their functions but I am not too sure of how they work together, for example I do not know how voltage dividers work in a circuit. currently I have the aarl understanding basic electronics book but I am unsure if it is what I want to read, I will read it eventually.OVERALL A BOOK THAT WOULD EXPLAIN COMMON CIRCUITS WITH TRANSISTORS AND TEACH ME TO BUILD CIRCUITS any comments would be appreciated..

Stout & Kaufman, Kaufman & Seidman, Rutkowski may be a bit dated, but make a good trio of fundamental sources.

Im currently reading mathematics for physicists by Philippe Dennery and André Krzywicki, and I’m understanding most concepts however I think it would be better for me to get a book on complex analysis or calculus to better understand it so I’m not left looking at an equation for an hour trying to figure out what it means. So here comes the split, do I get a complex analysis book? Or a calculus book? I might be able to Borrow a calculus textbook from my math teacher study that for a bit and...
