In addition to sports and exercising, what is proved or widely believed by the field of medicine that we can do to reduce depression, manage emotion or improve motivation?

Sports and exercise are great , as well as enjoying your favorite hobby, but it is very hard to motivate yourself to do these activities when depressed. Please seek a doctors advice for possible anti depressant meds and counseling.

Hi @kenny1999 as @PhanthomJay mentions, we cannot give medical advice here. Have you talked with your family doctor about this? I need to close this thread now per the PF rules about not giving medical advice, but feel free to reach out to me via PM. Thanks, and best wishes.
