SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the genetic factors influencing nipple head shape in both women and men. Participants express curiosity about whether these traits are inherited from parents and if specific shapes are predominant among different ethnic groups, such as "petite" nipples in Asian women and "perky" nipples in European women. The conversation highlights a desire for scientific insights into the genetics of nipple morphology, although some participants caution against deviating from the forum's scientific focus.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of human genetics
  • Familiarity with anatomical terminology
  • Knowledge of ethnic diversity in physical traits
  • Awareness of scientific discussion etiquette
NEXT STEPS
  • Research genetic inheritance patterns related to physical traits
  • Explore studies on nipple morphology across different ethnicities
  • Investigate the role of hormones in breast development
  • Learn about anatomical variations in human physiology
USEFUL FOR

This discussion is beneficial for geneticists, medical professionals, and anyone interested in the biological determinants of human physical traits, particularly in the context of anatomy and genetics.

Hi,

Just out of curiosity. We all know that women have different nipple heads.(Actually guys do too).

What is the key determinant here? From mom? Dad? And is there a majority kind of nipple head for different kind of people? I know asian girls tend to have "petite" nipples and most European girls have "perky" kind.

Is there something in genetics that determines this?

As much as I enjoy the subject you are talking about, I really don't think this is the site to do it on.
