Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around the correct setup for a supernode in a circuit analysis context. Participants are examining the equations related to a supernode and seeking clarification on the proper approach to formulating these equations.

Discussion Character

  • Technical explanation
  • Debate/contested
  • Homework-related

Main Points Raised

  • One participant presents an equation related to a supernode, questioning its correctness and seeking guidance on the next steps.
  • Another participant notes the absence of a circuit diagram, suggesting that it is necessary for proper analysis.
  • A subsequent post includes an uploaded image of the circuit, indicating a need for further assistance and clarification.
  • Another participant expresses difficulty in reading a specific value in the circuit diagram, requesting a clearer image for better understanding.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants have not reached a consensus on the correctness of the supernode setup, and there are multiple requests for clarification and additional information regarding the circuit diagram.

Contextual Notes

The discussion is limited by the unclear visibility of the circuit diagram and the potential misinterpretation of the supernode setup due to missing information.

Ok i have a problem with the supernode. So this is what i done so far

V3-v1=10

now for supernod equation, this is where idk if I am correct

v1/4+ (v1-v2)/2+(v2+v3)/2+(v3/8) = 0

Is this setup right ?

Where do i go from here ?

There's supposed to be an accompanying picture of the circuit, right? You forgot to include that.

here i uploaded it, heh. I forgot this is only jpeg :D. Please help me, and explain why this occures

I really can't read the value of the current source in the circuit diagram. Could you enlarge the picture?
