Homework Statement

An object is moving to the right, and experiencing a net force that is directed to the right, The magnitude of the force is decreasing with time. the speed of the object is: constant or increasing??

Homework Equations

none?

The Attempt at a Solution

constant??

increasing wasn't it?

Uhh...

I don't remember.

Why would it be increasing?

because there's acceleration.

Aaaaah, yes. :)

Well, this time it's about a force.
Do you know the relation between acceleration and force?

force equals mass times acceleration

Good!

So we have an object moving to the right.
In which direction is the force/acceleration?

Yep!

Do you also know the relation between acceleration and speed?

acceleration is the change in speed?

Yes. To be exact: acceleration is the change in speed per unit of time.

Soooooo?

sooo. its increasing?

um because its accelerating?

Yes, yes.
I think I've dragged this out long enough.
Yes, accelerating means speeding up.

What is the reason you're still doubting your own answer?

i don't know. cause i tend to be wrong. haha
