AI Thread Summary
The discussion revolves around the acceptable voltage between neutral and earth in electrical systems, with a specific focus on achieving a target of 0 volts. Participants noted that typical readings range from 1.4 to 2 volts AC, which is above the desired level. There is a strong recommendation for the original poster to consult a licensed electrician for assistance, especially given the complexities of local electrical codes in India. The thread was ultimately closed due to concerns about seeking professional advice online rather than from qualified individuals. Professional guidance is emphasized as essential for addressing electrical issues safely.

Hi
Normally our electrical equipment systems neutral to Earth voltage showing 1.4 to 2 volts AC.
Our requirement neutral to Earth is 0 volts.
How to achieve this value ,please help me.
What is the normal acceptable voltage of neutral to earth.

@putta -- Your previous thread (although it was 5 years ago) was closed because it seemed like you were refusing to contact a licensed electrician to help with your electrical issues. Is this the same situation again? I recall that you said you are in India, so most of us will not be familiar with your local electrical codes. In any case, you should contact a local electrician to help you with this problem.

Thread will be closed for now. If I'm missing something, please send me a PM and maybe we can re-open this thread. Here is the last post from your previous thread:

That is scary.

That is good advice @jim hardy . Do not try to get professional electrical advice on a web forum as a substitute for hiring a competent professional electrician.

Thread will remain closed.

Thread 'Weird near-field phenomenon I get in my EM simulation'
I recently made a basic simulation of wire antennas and I am not sure if the near field in my simulation is modeled correctly. One of the things that worry me is the fact that sometimes I see in my simulation "movements" in the near field that seems to be faster than the speed of wave propagation I defined (the speed of light in the simulation). Specifically I see "nodes" of low amplitude in the E field that are quickly "emitted" from the antenna and then slow down as they approach the far...
Hello dear reader, a brief introduction: Some 4 years ago someone started developing health related issues, apparently due to exposure to RF & ELF related frequencies and/or fields (Magnetic). This is currently becoming known as EHS. (Electromagnetic hypersensitivity is a claimed sensitivity to electromagnetic fields, to which adverse symptoms are attributed.) She experiences a deep burning sensation throughout her entire body, leaving her in pain and exhausted after a pulse has occurred...
