What magnitude of tension is in the wire?

    a 4kg magpie flies towards a very tight plastic wire on a clothes line. the wire is perfectly horizontal and is stretched between poles 4m apart. the magpie lands on the center of the wire, depressing it by a vertical distance of 4.0cm. what magnitude of tension is in the wire?

    Forget about the bird flying and draw your forces when the bird is actually at rest on the line.
