what the name of old system before digital system for record songs...
The discussion revolves around the historical systems used for recording music prior to the advent of digital technology. Participants explore various methods and technologies, including phonographs, sheet music, and analog tape, while also touching on related topics such as analog versus digital video displays.
Participants present a variety of viewpoints regarding the historical methods of recording music, with no clear consensus on a singular "old system." There are also differing opinions on the relevance of the discussion about pixel shapes in analog versus digital screens.
Some claims about the historical progression of music recording methods are based on personal recollections and may not encompass all relevant technologies or practices. Additionally, the discussion about pixel shapes includes technical details that may depend on specific definitions and contexts.
Analog magnetic tape decks like the ones used in recording studios have very high quality and are/were used to make the "masters" for recording sessions.taregg said:what the name of old system before digital system for record songs...
Digital pixel height / width aspect ratio is 1 / 1. NTSC analog HD pixel aspect ratio is also 1 / 1. NTSC standard definition 480i pixel aspect ratio = (480*4) / (704*3) = 10 / 11 or .909090... . This make it's it really awkward to interpolate / upconvert NTSC standard definition video (like a standard DVD) on a digital monitor. The image could be horizontally stretched by 10% to end up with 1 /1 aspect pixel ratios, but the stretched image would be noticable.taregg said:what is difference pixel shape between digital and analog screen
