TL;DR
Why do blood urea nitrogen (BUN) increases with age ? Can it be decreased?

Usually both Creatinine and BUN levels are used together to make a diagnosis. You absolutely need to consult a physician, treatments vary with the exact problem. PF cannot tell you what to do or make a diagnosis.

BUN may increase normally with age as the primary "cause". It depends on the clinical assessment whether it this result is: bad , tolerable with caution, or acceptable.
