Hi,

I have a chain hoist that I am trying to wire so that it'll run off of 480V.
The pictures below show the hoist/motor's technical specs, and what type of system it is.

So now my question is this. How do I wire a plug for this system, so that I can run it? What plug type will I need? Does it matter which wire goes into L1, L2, and L3? Are there colors I need to or can't use? Other legalities?

I realize this is a lot of voltage and can be dangerous, so what do I need to know from a safety perspective I.E. what can/will happen if it gets wired incorrectly

You need to use a licensed electrician to wire that up for you. Thread is closed.
