    Hi Borek. Is there something up with Chemical Forums? For the past week I haven't been able to connect, just get this error message. Applies to both laptop and phone. Any help appreciated.

    Yes, there is a serious problem. Since Saturday site is under slowloris attack (kind of a DDoS attack) and it had to be switched off to not interfere with other VMs residing on the same physical computer. I am in contact with the provider, sadly at the moment there is nothing they can say about when the site will be back online, as the attack continues.

    Borek, don't know if this is the usual protocol, but there is a recent post by Hraabo in "Topology and Analysis" that seems to belong in either EE or the HW section. I wrote something to this effect, but maybe you can decide better.

    best approach: just report the thread, reports are seen by all Mentors and dealt with much quicker this way
