Does the direction of current inverse in ac?

i know that the polarity will inverse periodically, phase and current directions would change.. yes but the live is the hot wire, current will flow to neutral.. but when the polarity inverses, the direction of current has changed, that is from neutral to live.. but how is it possible that...

Does the direction of current inverse in ac?

if the direction has reversed, it means that the live became neutral?

Does the direction of current inverse in ac?

I'm learning AC and theory says that the polarity of AC inverses.. even the name says 'alternating current'.. now what about the live and neutral? does the current goes from neutral to live and and vice versa? Some people says that only the phase inverses, but the current is always from live to...

How can polarity of AC inverse but keep the live hot and neutral cold?

In an AC circuit, we know that the polarity inverses, and what i know is that the flow of current also will therefore inverse.. which means that the live will become negative and the neutral will become positive.. What i can't understand is how the polarity inverses but the live is still the hot...

Why do isolators have a sort of circular spring around?

does the number of ceramic disk in the isolator matter??

Why do isolators have a sort of circular spring around?

Can someone Please explain to me how do these isolators works, i mean what about the parts? why does it look like this? and what's the purpose of the spring like thing around the isolators?

Why cheese need to be kept in aluminium foils

Why cheese is always kept in aluminium foil.. like when it is exposed after one day without being wrapped in aluminium, it starts to change color and also starts getting moldy and so on.. why is it the case? why aluminium? how does it works? can someone explain it to me please?

What's the function of capacitors in dynamos?

what is the function of the cap 104, why is it there? what's the function of this cap in the dynamo.. i know caps are used in motors for P.F correction, but what about the dynamos in toys??

Can a second earthing conductor drive the fault current back?

i have a TT earthing system and to decrease the resistance of the system I'm connecting the rods in parallel. i have the earthing conductor connected but as a mean of security, I'm thinking of connecting a second earthing conductor from the rod to the main Earth bar. Does this cause a any...

How Much Voltage and Current Do I Need for 8 LEDs in Series and Parallel?

If i have a LED which drops 3V, and 30mA through each LED and i need 8 LED in series.. does it mean that i need a total of 24V and 30mA from power supply or less? And if i use the same circuit in parallel, does it mean i will use 3V but much more current like 0.24A?? or least current?

Does a battery becomes open circuit when it's full? capacitors does?

i got this small rechargeable battery that is from an mp3 player.. i would like to charge it up and use for other purposes, but the problem is that there is no specifications written on it.. i measured the voltage across and i found 4.7 V. how do i determine it's voltage, i don't know how long...

Does a battery becomes open circuit when it's full? capacitors does?

When a batter is charging, let's say 3V battery.. when it's full, does it stops there or continues to take in charge? Like for example, capacitors charges up, until it reaches the voltage which was charging it, when both becomes equal, the cap becomes open circuit.. i wonder if batteries also do...
