From the BS ME at the same school, I would be missing:
- Intro to engineering/design
- Materials science
- Instrumentation
- Heat transfer
- Senior lab 2 semesters
- Four electives
Seems pretty significant. But apparently not strictly necessary?
I think if I went for the second bachelor's it...
I have a math BA and have been teaching HS for the past few years.
Thinking of going back for my MS in MechE with the goal of becoming an engineer. There is a program which will allow me to take around 6-7 undergrad MechE classes (physics 1, CAD, statics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics...
I feel compelled to post because I'm in a somewhat similar boat as OP. I just graduated with a double major in Math and Philosophy.
I agree with the guy who said you should pick one field and focus on it as soon as you can if you want to go to grad school. The best grad schools are...
I just graduated with a BA in Math (top 30) and have been unable to find a job. So right now I am doing some online undergraduate coursework in Computer Science, since I took no CS courses in undergrad. I'm sort of trying to kill the year while also getting the prereq's for a CS MS, as I...
Hi, thanks so much for the advice.
I have not taken any physics or CS. If I went into either of these programs, it would be to prepare for a career either in software development (for the CS program) or electrical engineering (for the BU program). Hopefully in the case of software development...
I'm currently an undergrad finishing up a bachelors in pure math. I have no prereq's in CS or Engineering.
I'm looking at a couple of "bridge programs" (BU LEAP and Tufts CS postbacc) that will allow me to get a masters in Electrical/Computer Engineering and Computer Science, respectively.
My...
