What kind of caterpillar is this? I think it might be some kind of Tussock Caterpillar or Tent Caterpillar, but I need the species name.

I don't know the name of it but it resembles certain stinging caterpillars so I would not touch it.
 
It appears to be a gypsy moth caterpillar.
