What's the Next Step After Superconductivity: A Very Short Introduction?

In summary, there are several highly recommended books for learning about superconductivity, including "Introduction to Superconductivity" by Michael Tinkham, "Superconductivity: An Introduction" by Reinhold Kleiner and Werner Buckel, and "Superconductivity: Fundamentals and Applications" by Stephen Blundell. Notable authors and publishers in this field include Cambridge University Press, Wiley-VCH, and Oxford University Press. There are also books available that specifically focus on the history of superconductivity, such as "The Discovery of Superconductivity" by Peter H. Seidenberg and "The Road to Superconductivity: The Story of Magnetic Levitation" by Alastair P. R. Ball. For beginners,

Superconductivity: a very short introduction
Im looking for a book that will follow up this book. It needs just more detail but not lots of maths and equations just a longer introduction any ideas?

What's your background? Did you do one or two courses in quantum mechanics?

If not, then there's probably not a lot of books out there that will serve your needs.
