In case someone doesn't know this, in the US, the date format is usually month-day-year. Thus, the 11-12-13 sequence today.

I'm surprised no group is predicting some catastrophe for today or some amazing celestial events.

Actually, 11/12/13 was 2000 years ago.
So I guess this is the 2000th anniversary of 11/12/13.

It doesn't occur every year.Like 2009 is 11/12/09.
