In summary, the conversation is about finding the value of cot(x/2) using trigonometric functions. The person asking for help is trying to expand cos(4x+3x) and sin(4x+3x) in terms of cos(x) and sin(x). They are also asking for clarification on whether or not to factor out the x. The responder suggests using the formulae for sin(a+b) and cos(a+b) and writing cos(4x) as cos(3x+x).

What do you mean by check this over? You've not done anything yet! Try expanding the trigonometric functions so that they end up in terms of cos(x) and sin(x).

No. Have you come across formulae, for general a and b, for sin(a+b) and cos(a+b)? If so, try writing cos(4x) as cos(3x+x).

What is IMP IMP: Simplify?

IMP IMP: Simplify is a scientific method used to simplify complex problems or systems into more manageable components.

How does IMP IMP: Simplify work?

The method involves breaking down a problem or system into smaller parts, analyzing each part individually, and then combining the results to find a solution or gain a better understanding of the system as a whole.

What are the benefits of using IMP IMP: Simplify?

IMP IMP: Simplify allows for a more systematic and organized approach to problem-solving, making it easier to identify and address key issues. It also helps to reduce complexity and increase efficiency in finding solutions.

Can IMP IMP: Simplify be applied to any problem or system?

IMP IMP: Simplify can be applied to a wide range of problems and systems, including scientific, technological, and societal issues. It is especially useful for dealing with complex and interconnected systems.

Are there any limitations to using IMP IMP: Simplify?

While IMP IMP: Simplify is a useful method, it may not always provide the most accurate or complete solution. It is important to use other scientific methods and tools in conjunction with IMP IMP: Simplify for a more comprehensive understanding of a problem or system.
