E-16. Electrically Charged Student

In summary, a student can become charged to a potential of several thousand volts above ground by being struck with a piece of fur while standing on an insulated platform. This can result in being able to draw sparks from the knuckles or ear, which can be entertaining for a class. Holding a key tightly in the hand can also allow for drawing sparks without discomfort. Additionally, the student can use their body charge to ignite a grounded Bunsen burner, as demonstrated by an instructor. This demonstration of superhuman abilities was also seen in an episode of the TV show "X file".

"If a student stands on an insulated platform - an inverted battery jar will do - and is struck several times on the back with a piece of fur, his body becomes charged to a potential of several thousand volts above ground, and a 2 cm spark can be drawn from knuckles or ear, greatly to the amusement of the class. If the student holds a key tightly in his hand, sparks may be drawn from the key without causing him discomfort. The instructor may present to him a grounded Bunsen burner and let him ignite the gas by the spark."

Once in an episode of a drama serial "X file", I saw a person who was able to demonstrate the superhuman ability to use his body charge to react with things at a distance.

Does anyone knows which episode it was?

Following graduation the student reenacted this glory day at parties by igniting the gas with a Zippo.

This is very creepy. This very episode aired tonight after you posted about it. The kid would go out into the cow pasture at night and attract lightning to charge himself up.

And by inviting partygoers to flog him with a piece of fur.

If they dared to get near !

What is "E-16. Electrically Charged Student"?

"E-16. Electrically Charged Student" refers to a fictional, hypothetical scenario where a student has been exposed to a high level of electricity, resulting in them possessing electrical powers.

How did the student become electrically charged?

The exact cause may vary depending on the specific story or scenario, but in general, it could be due to a freak accident, exposure to experimental technology, or a genetic mutation.

What are the student's powers?

Again, this may differ depending on the context, but typically, an electrically charged student would have abilities such as generating and manipulating electricity, enhanced speed and strength, and the ability to control electronic devices.

Is being electrically charged realistic?

While electricity can be dangerous, it is not possible for a human to become electrically charged in the way portrayed in fiction. However, this concept can be used as a metaphor for individuals with unique or extraordinary abilities.

Are there any real-life examples of electrically charged individuals?

No, there are no known instances of humans possessing electrical powers. However, there are real-life conditions such as electrosensitivity and electrohypersensitivity, where individuals may experience symptoms in response to exposure to electromagnetic fields.
