Electromagnetic induction with two coils and an iron heart
1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
![]() Two coils are place on an iron heart, like in the picture. The top Coil is connected to a galvanometer, the second could be connected to a power source. 2. Relevant equations Will an electric current flow through the top coil when: a) connecting and then disconnecting the DC chain that the bottom coil is connected to. b) connecting the bottom coil to a DC source. c) connecting the bottom coil to a AC source. d) removing the top coil upwards from an iron heart, when the bottom coil is connected to a DC source. e) removing the iron heart upwards, when the bottom coil is connected to a DC source. In all cases briefly explain Your answers. 3. The attempt at a solution |
