AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on a unique work-life balance achieved by commuting weekly between two towns. The individual works four full days a week but manages to spend an equal amount of time at home by effectively utilizing commute time for work. The key point is that a full workweek of 32 hours can be condensed into three and a half days, allowing for significant time at home. This approach challenges conventional perceptions of work schedules and highlights the potential for remote work during commutes.

I live in one town on the weekend and work in another during the week, commuting only once each way per week. I do not work in my home town.

I work four full days a week, yet in any given week I manage to spend as many days at home as I do at work. How do I manage this?

Answer: A full day of work takes about 8 hours. So four full days of work can be easily accomplished in three and a half days (minus half the unknown commute time).

You work during your commute?

Fall colors are here, no mosquitos, no deer flies, and mild temperature, so my morning run was unusually nice. Only two meetings today, and both went well. The deer that was road killed just down the road two weeks ago is now fully decomposed, so no more smell. Somebody has a spike buck skull for their...
